• What do you like the most working at Anytime Care?

  The three things I like most about working here are the continued support I receive, this is a very big thing for me. I also like the happy atmosphere among the care staff and office staff here. Additionally, I like meeting with all of our service users and providing the help they need to remain as independent as possible in their own homes.
• What is your favourite company value?

  My favourite company value is teamwork. I believe that this is one of the highest values because you cannot proceed without it. You cannot work as a team without it
• What do you like and dislike outside of work?

  Likes:Two things I like most are butterflies and artwork. I have taken a high interest in the intricate details of the butterflies wing patterns.

  Dislikes: I do not like spiders or heights.
• What is your favourite hobby?

  My favourite hobby is sewing. I upcycle old clothing into something new and refreshed.
• If you had a superpower, what would it be?

  If I had a superpower, it would be telepathy.

• What do you like and dislike outside of work?

  Likes: I enjoy building positive relationships with people and helping others. I like learning new things and improving myself both personally and professionally.

  Dislikes: Poor communication or negativity. Feeling unproductive. I hate Fish.
• What is your favourite hobby?

  One of my favourite hobbies is spending time being creative, whether that’s decorating, event styling, or creating new ideas for setups and designs. I also enjoy relaxing with music, movies, and spending time with pets/family.
• If you had a superpower, what would it be?

  Teleportation.

• What do you like the most working at Anytime Care?

  The primary thing I’ve valued is the collaborative culture and deep mutual trust. Working with a team where my input is genuinely valued created a sense of psychological safety that is rare and incredibly rewarding.

  Over the years,I have loved the continuous learning and evolution of my role. Experience gained through teamwork has allowed me to grow professionally without needing to change employers.

  Genuine respect, teamwork, leadership, and culture build together every day.
• What do you like and dislike outside of work?

  Likes: Bringing clarity to complex issues, Team collaboration for a successful common objective

  Dislikes: I hate giving generic advice when I know a specific answer would be so much more valuable to me. I really dislike it when my output is ambiguous or accidentally leads someone down the wrong path

  Watching soccer matches (Arsenal)
• If you had a superpower, what would it be?

  My superpower is continuously staying in a job for a long time.

Ed is the Co-Founder and Services Director of Anytime Care and has been helping people access high-quality care and support since founding the business with his brother in 2006.

After completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mental Health Studies and a Diploma in Higher Education Adult Nursing at Anglia Ruskin University, Ed worked across a variety of NHS and private healthcare settings. He also gained a Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector qualification and spent time lecturing in Health and Social Care.

The idea for Anytime Care was born from a simple conversation between two brothers. Whilst Ed was working as a nurse and his brother was working within domiciliary care, they regularly discussed the poor standards, lack of training and inconsistent service experiences they were seeing across the sector. Together they believed there had to be a better way. Combining clinical knowledge, operational expertise and a shared passion for helping people, they launched Anytime Care with a commitment to delivering the kind of service they would want for their own family.

Today, Ed leads the organisation's growth, strategic partnerships and business development, while remaining focused on the values that have guided the company from day one. He is passionate about building teams who genuinely care, sweat the small stuff and creating exceptional customer experiences.

What Ed enjoys most about working at Anytime Care is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, working alongside a fantastic team of people and seeing the positive impact great care can have on individuals and families every day.

His favourite company value is Compassionate, because he believes when we are compassionate towards ourselves, we can be compassionate towards others.  

Outside of work, Ed is a proud father of three boys and enjoys watching and supporting their sporting journeys. He values family time, personal development and continuous learning. He dislikes complacency and poor customer service, believing there is always an opportunity to improve and do better.

If Ed could have one superpower, it would be the ability to give every family complete peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are safe, supported and living life on their own terms.

Interesting Fact: Ed shares the same birthday as his brother, who is three years older than him.
